We made a trip to Akihabara, Tokyo’s central electronics district, where neon and gadgets abound.  We treated ourselves to one purchase.  Holding Mariquita back from the large home theater systems, we contented ourselves with one of the newest (not yet available in America) teeny tiny digital cameras, which presumably has more computing power in it than was available in the entire world in the 1950s.
