Imperial buildings have several key architectural
features:

Gold roof - representing the riches of the
emperor.

Dragons - sign of the emperor representing
power.

Three tiers leading to
each building - representing earth, the emperor and heaven.

Red - the color is said
to bring good luck.
This is the main gate into
Zhu Di's tomb.
